Route: From Lake Albert Safari Lodge take road to Tonya to the hydroelectric plant over the pass to Parajwoki. N to Bison then up to Ndanda mire then east on a track to Murchison Park. Decided at 10am to leave as there is nothing to do here. Headed up to the hydro electric dam road where there was a real cool waterfall and and a nice switchback pass to the top of the escarpment and then a tar road to Parajwoki. Then north and a good dirt road for a 100km with damn taxi's scaring me the entire way , but no big lorries thank god.Got to the top of the lake and headed east for only 25 km and a nice dirt track all the way to Murchison Park. Camped at the Nile River Camp ,just outside the park. Spectacular campsite overlooking the Nile with my personal guard that sat outside my tent all night and made a nice fire for us. They carried water a half kilometer so I could shower , well they had to lift the water 5 meters to place in the drum on the platform which took 5 guys a half an hour. They have people here , lots of them, very poor people. A lovely dehydrated meal , which was hash browns and like meat, was actually want for a breakfast, but luckily I am not a fussy eater and just need to fill the hole. My riding suite is caked in clay from my mishap and caked in red dust and serious body odor that I am even gagging on it , so hopefully I can wash it soon. With only one pair of shorts , three under rods and three shirts I am falling behind on my chores and am having to wear stuff for awhile.
It gets wilder by the day!!!
